MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

The SATCC has four categories of membership subscription:

(i) Ordinary Member – Corporate Member. An ordinary member shall be a juristic person with Thai or South African nationality, which is duly registered and engages in business in Thailand or shall be a natural person of South African nationality who engages in business in Thailand.

(ii) Associate Member. An Associate Member shall be a natural person or juristic entity who is qualified for Ordinary membership, but is not a resident of Thailand and does not wish to be categorized as an Ordinary Member.  Any Association Members shall have all the rights of Ordinary Members, except the right to vote or serve as a committee member of this organization.

(iii) Honorary Member.  An honorary member is a person whom the committee deems to be knowledgeable or who is a patron of the Chamber and the Committee has passed a resolution to invite that person to be an honorary member of the Chamber and that person has accepted the invitation.  Honorary Members shall have all the right of Ordinary Members, except the right to vote or serve as a committee member of this organization.

(iv) Extra-Ordinary.  Member shall be a natural person of any nationality who is residing in and engaging in business in Thailand.  An extra-ordinary member is not eligible to serve as a committee member and or vote in a Chamber meeting.  Other privileges will be the same as an Ordinary member.
